Immersing Ourselves in Missionary Work

On Friday, we met our Bishop in the morning. He took the day off because he had a funeral to conduct. We helped clean the chapel to get ready for the service. There were a lot of nonmembers there and we visited with many of them.

Later that night we went with the elders to an appointment to me an investigator family with one grandmother, three daughters and eleven children. All the kids had their Book of Mormon. They had read their chapter and had questions ready for the Elders. The Elders brought stickers for the children. It was a very fun evening.
We can't put pictures or names on our blog, so this is a picture from the Church website

Saturday, March 29th, we attended a wedding reception after a temple marriage of a couple in the ward. Many of the family were nonmembers and we mingled with them. Later that day we attended a baptism. I played the piano and Bob gave the baptism talk. The women's conference was tonight. We saw Lanae and Sadie and Lucy for just a fleeting moment on the TV as they sang in the choir. They looked great.

We saw two celestial sisters. One sister has had lots of health problems. We took her chicken noodle soup. She was so happy! Bob asked if she would like a blessing, and she would. She wanted to watch conference, she will meet with one of the families in the ward to watch conference. The other sister is one of the happiest people on the earth. She loves everyone and everyone loves her. She knows the gospel well. She loves the missionaries.
