We arrived in Little Rock the night of the 24th of March. We
met with Elder Petersen, President of the Little Rock Arkansas Mission on the
morning of the 25th. He and Sister Petersen are wonderful people, as are the
office staff and the assistants. What a blessing to be welcomed into the arms
of such spiritual love.
Later in the morning off we drove to Memphis, Tennessee, to
serve in the Memphis 2nd Ward. Thanks to our i phone we found our apartment in
Olive Branch, Mississippi. We unpacked and got a few groceries. It was nice to
get out of the car and eat our own cooking.
Here are some cute and funny apartment pictures.

Wednesday, March 26th, we called the Elders in our ward
(four of them) to come for dinner that night and a short meeting. They are
awesome young men, spiritually prepared to serve their Father in Heaven and
preach Christ's love. They talked with us about the area and the opportunities
for helping others. We are excited to serve together as a team to further the
work of the Lord.
Thursday, March 27th, we met with the Church Education Area
Supervisor. He is a devoted man and knowledgeable about the area. We are so
blessed to have such great resources as support. I did laundry today and made
Elder Monson's favorite granola. I don't understand the P-day concept. I can
get the housework done while I am cooking dinner. I don't need a P-day. But
I'll go with the program, whatever it is. :}
We are having lots of fun. It's great to go with the young Elders. They are so fun. More in another day or so. Blessings to everyone.
Thanks for sharing the apartment photos! You're both in our thoughts and prayers daily! :)
